Essential Learning Approved by Leading Accrediting Organizations to Offer
Continuing Education
SAN DIEGO- (May 5, 2008) Essential Learning, the

service industry, is now an approved provider of continuing education by the
American Health Information
Management Association (AHIMA); the
Breining
Institute: College for the Advanced Study of Addictive Disorders; and the
Commission for Case
Management Certification.
Essential Learning provides online courses to more than 400 organizations
serving more than 150,000 employees. These new accreditations will assist
employees to maintain their certifications offered by these organizations.
The American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) issues
credentials in health information management, coding, and healthcare privacy and
security. AHIMA members must maintain their credentials through rigorous
continuing education requirements. Essential Learning now offers accredited
courses for these requirements.
The Breining Institute has approved 23 Essential Learning courses for the
renewal of the Registered Addiction credential that is recognized in 40 states
and 14 countries.
The Commission for Case Management Certification promotes professional case
management certification to advance the quality of case management services.
Increasingly employers are requiring that case managers be certified and
Essential Learning now offers many online courses for case managers to maintain
their certification.
